I had to logically think through everyday social interactions like a robot or alien that just landed here and was tasked to figure things out but I lost my communication with the mother ship kind of thing

I think part of mine I’ve narrowed down to being born very preterm – at 6.5 months, which causes changes in white-matter growth, leading to what’d be diagnosed as inattentive adhd now most likely. I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder as a kid and I’ve always identified with autistic-type behaviors and peoples and certainly am in that spectrum somewhere.

But what’s good is everybody’s wiring is different anyhow, and we’re not locked in nor entirely excluded from other parts of humanity because of it. It’s just a little trickier in some parts, in other parts easier.
