It’s tricky to customize a message but I try.Your post inspired me to look up some ANCIENT online clout management that still exists that I used to use to improve clout in online social networking (in places where it’d mattered)
On it I found “me” from 2009 in a local newspaper.
I was establishing a “hyperlocal” social networking service by which all local area businesses could connect with as well as people with each other. Facebook wasn’t doing businesses yet. Google wasn’t doing businesses yet. So I saw a huge opportunity and grabbed it, building a local social networking service around it.
Did good for about 7 years. No complaints. I lasted longer than Google+ or Vine did.
Now the REASON I was doing all of this helping of other businesses out and helping other people out, was to establish clout.
I figured I would advertise freely EVERYBODY ELSE’S businesses which in turn would advertise MINE (as it was my site, my business name was on every page)
and it worked. It established networking channels that still exist to this day.

had to ‘freeze’ the site because the code was SO OLD by 2015 it just couldn’t run anymore. Outputted them all to plain text, reconstructed the fake directory structure into REAL hard directories and disabled all of the functions.
I keep it because it generates money oddly still. No longer $800 a month as it was from 2007-2014 – that ship sailed long ago – but it pays for itself.
Want to see a REALLY UGLY 2007 era website? ugly. I had and have no sense of aesthetic.

Anyway, the point is with clout, yeah. You’re right with the mana. You have to have ‘something’ that gives extra “power booster” behind your words.

That’s where I use autobiographical stuff. It’s not a full substitute for some people. For other people it’s superior.

yes, I watched it earlier. Being abnormal, I decided to see if I could find a Youtube player for Windows 10 so that I could add video filters to customize the appearance, and then when I could, made it look like a moving chalk drawing.

Yeah, she’s confirming that Facebook was fully aware they were a problem and did what they did anyway.
