You inherit propensities. I have a propensity towards physique: muscle building is simple for me. A few weeks in the gym and my muscles start making my clothes not fit as well.
But some people won’t be able to get that physique no matter how much they go to the gym, down protein, etc. Maybe a TENS machine but you still gotta have a propensity towards being able to build scar tissue in the right way.

You’re healthier that way. The drawback to easily building muscle mass is: pot belly. SO easy to get pot belly. Large body cavities, lots of room for fat to spill over the liver and fill up, squish the heart and pancreas, leading to diabetes and other problems.
Granted, I like having a large frame and not having to work out to be strong. But I’m also overweight and will always have to watch out for certain diseases ppl tend to get with my body type.
==
Also, clothes look better on a slim frame. There’s no fashion for large framed people, whether muscular or pot belly.

Yeah, I never had the body type for it. Crap back, but naturally strong. I had good luck with qigong and Tai chi once long ago: I could probably do that stuff again.

Naw, tried Yoga, Back goes out in some of the positions. 3 weeks of pain ain’t worth it. Premie. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy but it was probably really mild ’cause physical therapy for a few years and there’s no sign. yet, still have crap back. No biggie: I just avoid certain movements and I lift heavy things with my mind on the very specific positioning of my back and ab muscles.

I can mentally isolate most any muscle in my body and work with it. Doesn’t serve me any purpose but it makes me hyper-aware of body positioning at all times.
