Rather, “You got it!” is an American expression meaning, “You understand the point I was making, the ‘gist’ of what I was attempting to express, and I appreciate feeling “heard” by somebody successfully when they rephrased my original statement in another way”.

hehe it’s all good my friend smile emoticon It’s all a game to me tongue emoticon Last night, I spent hours on and off with an, “educated racist” as he was trying to put me into logic traps, squirming around me pointing out a single sentence in his _whole_ five paragraph tome that I noticed was the foundation stone of his whole argument, hiding right in the middle of it as if it was a plain fact… and enjoyed the challenge.
