You don’t have to answer to haters. Let them hate. They’re too stupid to know any better.

People feel free to judge online because it’s safe. Then again, people also feel free to judge in person but there’s at least _some_ social decorum available.

Sometimes people forget there’s a real live complete whole human being on the other end of things and it’s not just a stream of words or something akin to a newspaper article where they can shake their fist and rant about. There’s a real person, real feelings, real consequences.

Chalk it up to immaturity on their part. And on your part? Kudos for holding it together as best you can. You don’t have to answer to haters. Let them hate. They’re too stupid to know any better. It’s your Facebook. You can ignore, block, remove, – you have a whole toolbox at your disposal. Don’t be afraid to use them.

You have a right to have as pleasant of an online experience as you like.
