I believe you *can* write a book. I’m sure you can. You know what you want to write about. And as far as people not taking you seriously? That’s their issue, their emotional projects of their own deficits that they’re putting on you.
You have the right to not accept that.
You can smile and go, “Thank you for your opinion”, turn back and continue working on it. Some people WANT you to feel incompetent… that’s all they know how to do; find sore spots and POKE.
That’s *ALL* THEY KNOW how to do.
And it’s kind of sad, really. I don’t feel pity much, but I feel pity for haters. They want to make friends but have no idea how to do it properly. They just know how to mock and jeer and find others who mock and jeer as well, all the while trying to conform in hopes that THEY don’t become the target next.
You can do it if that’s what you want. I don’t doubt it for a second.
You’re really good at doing “play on words”. Perhaps you can start writing your book in a poetic form first? Short poems about your intentions, about your ideas, about your thoughts. You seem to have a poetic mind that enjoys wordplay. It’s a start.
