You can change the past. Future you is changing you right now. The problem is they can only communicate in strange ways.

It’s why I think that the whole “inner child” thing works; you’re communicating with your younger self and fixing your younger self by communicating. The current you fixes the past you which then fixes the present you.

I mean, do I *really* believe it? I haven’t a clue if it’s *true* or not.

But considering that there’s no real way to say that it *isn’t* true, there’s no good reason for me to not believe that the future brings the present into it.

After all, we make goals, and then choices and then succeed. Who’s to say ’cause’ didn’t start in the future, and the message go back to the past, which started the whole planning process in the first place?

And when our plans fail, perhaps we weren’t listening to the future closely enough.

If nothing else, the reframing of Time is helpful. At least for me
