Yet on the other hand, very strangely indeed, I’ve _also_ been finding myself reading The Hill lately.

After this election cycle of weird and wooly opinions from left to right to bizarro, and finding myself over and over again using Christian Science Monitor as my #1 source of “Let’s see what this honest paper thinks about this subject”… I’m a hairs breadth away from subscribing. I haven’t paid for news since the early 00s… but outside of a tiny pro US and tiny white bias (It’s so slight than had I been unaware of white privilege existing at all, I’d never have noticed it) – I cant find any other. I’ve been looking for it: I expect bias in news.

Yet on the other hand, very strangely indeed, I’ve _also_ been finding myself reading The Hill lately. It’s sort of a gossip rag for Congress and yet, even with a somewhat exaggerated style ,left + right seem to get hit equally by its articles. Can’t say it’s an unbiased source ’cause, well, it’s just got that National Enquirer feel to it, and yet a few articles in, and you’re like, Wait but they just said THIS about the OTHER person… what gives here?” and you realize it’s politically center.
