I want a pixel-to-pixel, no compression correlation between pixel and voxel, all in a single image.

In other words, if I hover over pixel 10028, 28394  and i do:

/tp 10028 65 28394

I’ll end up in the same place.

 

I’m thinking of future compression-free computer technologies.  The compressions and shrinkings are so commonplace, we rarely stop to question the necessity.  But they’re stopgaps, making-do while computer capabilities catch up to our needs.

With enough capacity, there should be no need for such things, eventually.
