They found out that at a certain point, there’s improvement within a certain area as things get more and more efficient for that purpose, but other abilities atrophy. Solution? Confusion. Change it up. When you start getting into a pattern (is it habituating? I don’t remember the term), do something entirely different. Not always easy to figure out what but it’s fun.
