yeah moderation in facebook is awful. I used to use LISTSERV in the early 1990s for moderating mailing lists – very powerful. Usenet had a bunch of tools. Internet forums varied in their powers. I think yahoo-groups had a decent of moderation tools, although a little less than phpBB and the other forum hosts. But then came Facebook. Their groups came with so many missing moderation features. I tried running a few Facebook groups early on. I forget what was missing now but it was so frustrating having so little actual control that I abandoned it. That’s why I was a bit hesitant when you’d asked at that time when you did; I found the way they do things very frustrating.
