^wow. it's 12:30am. didn't realize i was sitting in the barn all that time clicking through 1-2 seconds of different 'carol of the bells'. i like the song, but nobody ever performs it the way i hear it in my head. some musicians get close, but i'm hoping that somebody has written and performed it how i mentally hear it should be done. it cries for a dramatic rendition – yet it shows up on albums like, "Sad songs for christmas" – no, it doesn't have to be sad at all.^
