Without a sense-of-peace-towards-others within yourself, how could one be in a position to show others the way or expect them to follow?

Well, that is a tall order. imo, the responsibility for peace rests with you, Kris.
It rests with me.
It rests with RJ and anybody who wishes it.

You have to have it first. Then you can educate others in its practice.

It’s not that you can’t get things done without it. But it will be fractured effort.

Sympathy can work as well but consider sympathy vs empathy at an extreme:

A war-like effort towards peace that is driven by sympathy lacking empathy will more likely lead to more war rather than peace.

That, of course, is an extreme but I’m using it as an example of how I’m thinking here.

Consider:
“I demand that YOU initiate peace or else [insert threat]”

It is a war-like move. It will likely result in a war-like response.
