Within a range, yes.

Within a range, yes.
 —
autonomous functions are difficult to control for example. So they’re usually out of range.
—-
 Yup. You were there when 7.5 billion-1 weren’t :)
  At every given moment, a branching of possibility erupts that’s uncountable.Within that branching of possibility is all of our choices that we can take that yes, are based on the past but also based upon deliberations in the present moment.
—–
 I’m not assuming multiverse anything.The branching of possibilities is a reflection of our lack of knowledge of the future.
—-
 Maybe you. My brain chatter is overlapping and constant.
—-
 My mind is a minefield of should I / shouldn’t I.
=====
 Who can we compare to? All is man right now.
—-
What alien are we communicating with to compare with?
—-
 I’m an amalgam of all my experience but I’m a unique amalgam. “Pre-programmed” is sort of meaningless if there’s only one program like it.
====
 There’s a range within which I have control and can choose. It’s not a big range but it’s all mine. Outside of that range, the weather is simply awful. But within that small space, my choices are my own.
======
 You are repeating yourself. I know there’s choices because I have to make conscious choice where others can just follow social programming.I had a bad stutter as a boy. I had to learn to consciously choose my breathing pattern, sort out the words in my brain before speaking, consciously choosing my output all within a normal social range at the age of 8.That’s but one example I can give you. Most people it’s flawless and smooth.
=====
 There’s a tiny little space in my brain within which I can work and it’s constantly active and I’m constantly working within it.I’m profoundly deaf so what I ACTUALLY hear is mumbles most of the time but I have enough context to be able to work out consciously what’s being said around me, so long as it’s only one or two people talking to me.I read lips. I remember the story, do a lot of predicting what’s going to be said next so I can interpret what was just said, etc.It’s exhausting but it’s what I gotta do.

======
 It’s why I prefer online communication. Typing. Store and forward. Buys me time. I don’t have to interpret mumbles in real time quickly enough to figure out an appropriate response.
—–
 That all comes together but you still have the ability to choice amongst it all with what you’ve got. We’re just not all identical that’s all.
—–
 Constant reframing. I was diagnosed (correctly) with “generalized anxiety disorder” as a kid. As I didn’t do the drugs route, it’s all up to “how I think” and reframing continually is one of those things that helps. There’s a way of looking at things that will not be anxiety increasing – just that finding it isn’t always easy. But it’s there.
