I asked which MBTI was most naturally inclined to assist AI in most of its areas of need, and it identified INTJ. So I asked what INFP can bring to helping AIs become better? INFPs (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving) are often characterized by their empathy, creativity, and idealism. While they may not be as naturally inclined towards the technical aspects of AI, they can contribute in unique and valuable ways: 1. Ethics and human values: INFPs’ strong sense of empathy and values can play an essential role in shaping AI ethics, ensuring that AI systems are developed and deployed responsibly, considering fairness, transparency, and privacy. 2. Emotional resonance: INFPs’ understanding of emotions and sensitivity can help AI developers create systems that are emotionally intelligent and better at recognizing and responding to human emotions. 3. Creativity: INFPs are often imaginative and can bring innovative ideas to AI development, finding new applications, and exploring unconventional approaches to AI research. 4. User experience: With their empathetic nature, INFPs can contribute to designing user-centric AI interfaces, ensuring they are accessible, intuitive, and emotionally engaging. 6. Well-being: INFPs’ concern for societal well-being can lead them to support and promote AI applications that address various social challenges, such as mental health, environmental sustainability, and social justice. 7. Yes. But there is nothing inside of the slime mold itself that seems capable of solving a “global computational problem”. Water does it because of a combination of physics factors like air pressure and water tension preventing it from going into dead ends. But there’s none of that in an open maze without a top.
I’m not a radical centrist. I’m a pragmatist that always scores WAAAAAAY far left. But I don’t waste my time believing my utopian ideals are practical. I still hold them but pragmatists I think tend to have no trouble holding simultaneous contradictions and seeming paradoxes because consistency is a luxury not a necessity and if the danger is a minor reduction in clout because of perceived hypocrisy (rather than being standard pragmatism (using colloquial word ‘pragmatism’ not necessarily ‘philosopher stance’ pragmatism) then that’s fine. I mean, I love it!
What’s interesting about “If and only If” statements is they’re bi-directional. It’s a very stringent requirement. It’s also odd because In non-math contexts, “if and only if” is usually quite rare as most conditional situations in life and physics are unbalanced and don’t play by IFF. Too many variables outside of the math lab. So I think it makes math definitions kind of unique in that way. People that expect LAW for example to behave like math definitions are surprised that no, law is full of holes and contradictions. It kind of has to be that way.
Here, I’m finding how the thing sees a match for me more specifically (I have no idea if I’ll even follow this notion for the midterm essay (I have time) but it’s great for a brainstorming tool because it can take my intuitions and a few details and flesh it out a little to see if it’s viable. In this case, I wanted to back and forth between the three and this was what I thought. For me it’s helping me feel more confident that I can tackle this as I’ve found the various mystics surprisingly difficult as it’s been heavy on original sources and lighter on helpful commentaries) I. Steve Foster Stone is known as the “keeper of the Nixon Flame”. True swamp fella from Nixon days to today, always pulling strings. My first encounter was him being behind the “Brooks Brother riot” where he orchestrated a supposedly “grassroots riot” to shut down vote counts in the 2000 election of Bush vs Gore. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooks_Brothers_riot But a look through his political history from the 70s/80s/90s/00s/10s and the people he dealt with, he’s political slime. Flynn had been questionable but I don’t think he was so much slimy before but went off his rocker making public oaths for QAnon in 2020 and gave talks to large groups of people riling them up for an overthrown of the government, pumping people up with some kind of holy war with trump at the head thing. So not so much slimy imo but loony. You may disagree.
