“Why don’t I have the right to opt out of society? When did I ever sign on the dotted line to obey the law?”

I’ll give it a shot not for justification but thought:
“Why don’t I have the right to opt out of society?
When did I ever sign on the dotted line to obey the law?”

2nd question 1st.
[Insert Name] is born to parents.
The parents of [Insert Name] were born in a society.
The parents of [Insert Name] are within a society which has laws.
The laws of the society of the parents of [Insert Name] are in at the time of his birth existed before the parents of [Insert Name] were born.
Included in the laws of the society of the parents of [Insert Name] were laws that state that laws created after one is born have equal holding power to laws created in the society before you are born.

[Insert Name] did not ask to be born.
[Insert Name] did not ask to be born of his parents.
[Insert Name] did not ask to be born of his parents who gave birth to [Insert Name] within the society they found themselves in with the laws that are a part of that society that they agree to by being within that society.

When born, you inherit the rights of of your parents.
[Insert Name] inherited the rights of his parents.
Included in the rights of the parents (and [Insert Name] by extension) are also obligations. These obligations, called laws, are a requirement which allow all of the benefits of society to be bestowed upon the citizens without the citizens having to pay much mind to them if they choose.

They do not have to pay attention to the benefits of the society, only to the laws that they might break.

While the age of majority differs from place to place (from age 12 – 21 I believe is the worldwide range of the age of majority, although I could have things mixed up here), when one is a minor, one is an infante.

If the age of majority is 18, at 17 years and 364 days, you are equivalent to a new born baby. In most of the world, you are equivalent a fetus who is 3+ months in the womb.

Before the age of the majority, you have not yet left the womb legally.

So, when do you sign?

Your parents did by leaving you there the day you turn from a minor to a major.

All their signatures fell upon you. BOOM.

Can you opt out?

Yes.
