My LSD experiences were wonderful. They were like “me” but enhanced. [I’ve always been introspective and my senses make connections that _apparently_ most people’s don’t, although I don’t know why… it’s just normal for me]
My favorite hallucination on LSD was when I was wearing a searsucker work shirt and tie. I was at a friend’s house and we were tripping, with Rosanne playing on an old 13″ TV set with lots of snow (because he had an antenna).
I looked down at my shirt and I watched playful tiny zebras in the white areas of my shirt with the skinny black and white stripes. While I watched them play, I was analyzing _why_ my brain re-interpreted the interference patterns as zebras while ALSO enjoying the heck out of the experience.
I still remember those Zebras… and the only music playing was the sound of static on a TV interrupted by Rosanne Barr’s cackling laugh every once in a while when the signal was clear enough to come in.

Good thing about LSD (and likely other similar drugs) is it can last. Once it breaks a pattern and reforms a new one, you get to keep it for free.
