Where I was was the opposite. DeSantis at the start shut things down. But he got so much flack by the anti-mask crowd, which I think was born in my city of Naples, (I know at least one of the Moms of Liberty – not the sex one – came from here – and anti-masking was their start of political power (and anonymous donations but that’s another story)))- — that he went the NOBODY can make anybody mask that gets State funds route in his attempt to get ready for a Presidential campaign he didn’t announce but everybody knew he was vying for. So had _had_ the deaths but then his people changed the way we report statistics differently than 49 other states or any other country to absorb the “blips” into the past part of the rolling averages, making it always seem like things are always getting better… … sorry, I’m just grumpy over the inauthenticity of how he handled everything there. But I’m glad it wasn’t bad by you.
