It’s good practice. It really, really is good practice.

You don’t have to abandon your worldview at all.

I personally found a lot of what’s within Philosophy to make me cringe.

HOWEVER, after a little over a year hanging out with Philosophy people online as part of my “Expand myself in a direction I don’t like” experience, I know more strongly what I stand for and how to defend myself and when I’m doing it wrong.

I haven’t changed my beliefs or stances about anything really but what it’s done is given me “another voice” to speak with, by understanding how Philosophical argumentation takes place (at least online), _and_ how to defeat it through my own style of rhetoric, which incorporates their ways and my own without me having to compromise what I take as truth in the world.
