What’s the tangible for influence over people? Is it the people?

Influence. Influence over people? What’s the tangible for influence over people? Is it the people?

Well religion’s an intangible. Country is an intangible. But you have human bodies. That’s tangible. Their skills are somewhere between intangible (the potential for their use) and tangible (their use) [if they don’t agree to use their skills, it’s not a resource).

and of course land is tangible.

So I suppose I have to say I’m in agreement with you then. The out-group homogeneity turns resources (tangibles) into intangibles (a falsely homogenous group). Since they are considered useless (not tangible – not a resource), they must be destroyed. Plus nothing is being destroyed in the minds of the destroyers, because only resources can be destroyed. Intangibles don’t exist. Once people are considered intangibles (useless) they are considered a drain on resources (tangibles).

But the diversity of the in-group means the in-group is considered to have resources (usable skills) and thereby valuable.

Or, I could be talking out my ass.
