What taxes? Florida has no state tax. There’s a corporate tax and his plan only affects the top 3% of corporate taxpayers.
Those 3% got a $8 billion dollar federal tax break.
Gillum is saying, “You’re linked to Florida and its people. $1 billion of your $8 billion free money should go to Florida and its people. Keep the other $7 billion”.
He also got a donation and endorsement from Norman Lear. “All in the Family”. So what?
Focus on the issues. You’re also electing Chris King as Lt Gov. Look at Chris King’s platform too. It meshes.
Go ahead and compare. You could look at DeSantis platform too but he hasn’t got one yet. But Gillum and King are ready.
And yet 45% of Floridian’s make under $15/hr.
I’m 46 yrs old. I’ve heard all of it before and chump change from a guy you don’t like is nothing to me. Florida’s future however, does matter to me.
I’ve been online since 1989 Paul. I’ve heard it all about this stuff. It might be new to you, but not to me.
I’ve been around all these 27 yrs and watched it all, joined it all, saw 4chan arise, stormfront’s arrival, gamergate, Anon, Names come up over and over, I pick up knowledge, see things, form opinions.
I don’t mind Soros’ contribution. I welcome it. The USA is made of different stuff and follows different rules, different aims, and a Progressive platform is the right direction for us as it stays in the Constitution and also allows for our capitalist roots to co-exist.
My favorite are the tag teams, where two or three go in and have fake debates to draw others in. But making on Soros? Meh.
Seen it long ago. “Oh no, it’s Soros” is old hat in political times.
Trolling score: 6/10. You got me engaged for a bit, but you stayed too long on one thing.
For a higher score, mix up a few more topics of conversation before returning to the “own the libs” point.
Told you. I know the clips. Saw the whole interview. I know Soros’ investing style too and took it into account when investing back in 1999-2002. Smart man. Nothing new to me. Told you that.
Gillum/King is the best for Florida’s future. It’s as simple as that.
You got two main market investing philosophies: Soros or Buffet. Most investing loosely falls in a spectrum between. Soros is agile, Buffet is long and hold.
