What makes it hard to notice is we believe it almost instantly.

a: “Doesn’t she look tired?”
b: “Oh yeah, she does doesn’t she?”

Tired implies low-energy, dying, sick, old, incompetent, etc.

But is she really ANY of those things? I doubt it. Like this pnenomia : it happens. Shake lots of hands, people coughing at you, and this is a common time of year for this type of thing. [I remember in school, I remember in work – September is just one of those shit months for stupid sicknesses – so is January].

But doesn’t matter: Once the idea is ‘out there’ it’s hard to shake it. All she’ll have to do is sneeze and people are pushing the coffin towards the stage. It’s ridiculous really and it’s just a very effective mudslinging tactic used in politics.
