What I’m trying to do is understand if an ontology could form a rule of a domain. So I’ve been reasoning things out. I generalized rules to its broadest word, which seems to be Principles, then I skipped over to a long term bit of confusion of mine: “Philosophy of” vs “Applied” to see if there was a larger pattern than I knew, and there is.
Next, which was after this post here, I put Principles back in for a more complete expression of the general framework I’m shaping
“Philosophy of the Principles of the Domain of Entity.
Principles of the Domain of Entity.
Applied Principles of the Domain of Entity.
So if Domain is Law:
Philosophy of the Laws of the United States
The Laws of the United States. [Legislation]
Applied Laws of the United States. [police, court system, jail]”
So I’m generalize each “Subject” or “Field of Study” or “Branch of Knowledge” here as PRINCIPLES and the things that surround principles: philosophy of a principle and the application of a principle., which seems to be how we divide things up already: I’m just reflecting it and calling it out.
