I’ll just say this: The forgetting curves are useful. Around age 8, most kids forget most of the details of the stuff that happened prior. I suspect it happens at that time as that’s when the “drip drip drip” starting the puberty process begins… and why 3rd graders all seem crazy. Takes a few years though. There’s a few forgetting curves in life. Used to have a chart. Ah – it’s the Reminiscence chart. I try to beat it. »

So, follow the Maslow? Get all up beyond Tier 1 and 2 by dismantling capitalism so it’s possible to fully work on Tier 3 without encumbrances of dysfunctional 1+2 (which are hampered in progress by the existence of capitalism)?
Oh, sorry about that. I was having 1/2 of the conversation in my head so no it wouldn’t make sense. Ok: How to go from a transactional model under capitalism in service of patriarchy into a different mode of empowerment? What paradigm of relationship is needed at which scopes? Or is that the wrong approach?
He’s barely ‘the left’ himself. Radicalized himself out of boredom over a summertime, made a plan, slumming it in the “court system” that he’s perfectly capable of beating or believes so. He’s got ‘rizz. A suave secret-agent-man way. Many people see the victory in that the damage and deaths caused by white collar tactics by the victim – whose name you’ve forgotten too – by corporate decisions made that ended lives ,got a momentary come-uppance. Do I agree with that narrative? No. But it’s not hard to understand.
Greater training and division of labor. Yes, you have abolitionists, just like you have January 6th people who wanted to destroy the Capitol building or whatever. But they aren’t the majority are they? No. Defund the police is “unbundling” police services. They CAN’T handle all of those things all at once. Lawyer? Strong arm? Mental health counsellor? De-escalation? Interpreter? yes it’s perfectly possible to increase education for police and unbundle their services for better community service. It’s not that they’re lacking funding. It’s where the funding GOES.
It’s about taking responsibility for your own handling of firearms rather than trusting a system to take care of thinking for you.
