What embarrasses me is those white and male Americans are saying they represent ME. So, I do what I can to “take out my own trash”. I fight against bad ideas among fellow white men. I get called all KIND of colorful names in the process, But they’re in the wrong, so while they’re busy heckling everybody that isn’t “their own”, I can at least be a fly in the ointment, maybe convince a few to quit the stuff and find their inner adult, as their “heckling teen” mode gets old.
