What does ” intangible abstraction” define?

A friend asked me: What does ” intangible abstraction” define?
Very good question.

Intangible would mean you can’t touch it.
Abstraction means it’s an “idea” of something or a simplified version of something but the connection isn’t always obvious.

Intangible brings to mind something behind glass that we can’t touch with your fingers, but we can see it.

Abstraction turns the glass into frosted class, where we see an abstraction of the object but can’t always tell what it is.
