Oh I like that!
I’m going to use that but I have to figure out how to word it…
Standard Question Adults Rudely Ask Other Adults: What Do You Do For A Living?
[as if what you do to make money has any bearing on who you are as a person. Meh]
Anyway, I have to figure out how to work this:
“What do you do for a living?” I want to say “Breathe” but I don’t like using sarcasm, just thinking it and smiling internally.
Ah – got it!
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: Oh, I mustn’t say. It’s a surprise, you know, so no guessing! How’s the snack table, by the way? Anything good over there?
God I dread small talk.
More likely I’d say, “My name is Kenneth Udut. You Dee You Tee. You have an Internet. Look me up. Now what about that snack table?”
Realistically? I’d just talk about my businesses and make it sound like it’s important, about animal trapping, running a family business, and marketing crap. That’s just what I do to make money though. Yeah, It’s a surprise is a good answer and Kenneth Udut backs it 100%.
