“well why not ‘do’, time’s gonna pass whether I ‘do’ or ‘don’t do’, so I might as well ‘do'”
Each time’s been different. I like being able to do all of it (with exception of today and another in a few weeks) from home. It’s different from being in a class.
I had a taste of online-only back in 2001; one of my classes was mostly onlineĀ at my community college but it was dialup and the system is nowhere near as organized as they have it today.
My first time was my best of course but it was all about the socializing, living there, etc. Second time I liked dealing face to face with the professors, etc.
Now it’s a case of
“well why not ‘do’, time’s gonna pass whether I ‘do’ or ‘don’t do’, so I might as well ‘do'”
Takes a lot of the pressure to perform off; cuts it down to somewhat more manageable levels. My brain has as much trouble doing the contortions it needs to do to focus as it ever did but I have less of the world’s-gonna-end-if-I-perform-poorly feeling. That said, I’m still nervous about Chemistry.
I’m shocked each time I do a problem correctly. Just as shocked now as I ever was.
