Well, what if it was programmed with an amalgam of life experiences from a multitude of people? Various databases to draw from with all sorts of situation possibilities calculated for optimum (justice or fairness, you can choose which) for a situation?
I’m not sure what the perfect balance of Justice vs Fairness would be. It’s something on my “I need to learn this someday” list.
The day it ‘clicked in’ that justice and fairness are most often in opposition to each other, I was quite surprised. [similar to my surprise in learning that efficiency and effectiveness are also at odds with each other]
Oh it’s just the equality vs equity thing. Fairness is equality. Justice is equity. .. I think. I dunno. Like I sad, it’s on my list of things to understand properly one of these days.
-Ok. That makes sense. So, “Earned” is objective (some kind of chart of values) with the only source being a calculation involving work. Work * Earned = Due ?
I ask to understand better, not to debate. It sounds like ‘Work, get paid” “Don’t work, don’t get paid”. In short, sounds like America without a widows & orphans fund
