Every generation goes through this now. I feel bad for the Snapchat generation kids; they grew up moving from Tiktok to Snapchat BELIEVING their stuff got deleted after 10 seconds. They didn’t know that: a) no it doesn’t and b) people screen capture. It’s almost a horrid rite of passage for GenZ now, the moment they get exposed and shamed at school, only to then go dark online and get paranoid for a year or two in middle school.
