Well, theology as a study is pretty intense, deep stuff. People devote lifetimes and groups spend many lifetimes going over some pretty intricate details of things.

But when people DON’T have a theology, don’t study, just read a few words and run with it, I think they tend to be more of a problem.

Religion’s have been around from the start. Humans are storytellers and scientists. Religions are sciences. Investigations. Explorations. Explanations. Religions, mythologies, sciences, all seek to explain.

Their success levels vary but there was no imaginary time that was pre-religion.

I consider myself agnostic, mostly by default. I have a mainstream Christian background for the most part, although family was a little new age-y eclectic too. (my grandmother followed American psychic Edgar Cayce and believed in Atlantis and Ancient Aliens, or at least had an open mind to them). But I never harbored ill-will towards normal people practicing regular religions.

What’s awesome about “You” is that, in English, it’s very flexible. Singular or plural, plus in a place like this there’s no telling *who* the “you” is intended to be. Nice, messy and open.

12 yr old ne pointed out today, “Why is it whenever someone is yelling at someone else, they point?” I made some awful Uncle type wisecrack about them believing their fingers are lasers going “pew pew”… and then gave a counter example and one of those “Oh you!” points.

This kind of rude’s fine. I just never liked the Uncle Sam Commercialized Industrial-Revolution Freudian WW1 Pointing Finger rude.

“We Want YOU!”
….me?…
“yes… YOU!’
…bu-but, I’m nobody…
“NOW, you are. But, let the US ARMY make YOU into SOMEBODY!”
….gosh, golly, i dunno…
“YOU!”
…nah, you can’t want _me_…
“YOU! We want YOU!”
…well… I dunno…
“YOU!”
…aw, ok…

I like food. I’m an Omnivore. I’d have to go backwards to what foods I don’t like rather than do.

Some foods I’m not crazy about. Most fish doesn’t do anything for me for example. Yet, if it’s prepared right, I’ll eat it. Sometimes it’s bad cooking rather than bad food.

You seem triggered harder than a 5th grader who just found out there’s a Monday morning pop quiz.

Most foods I could manage without if I had to. I could go without chicken and be ok Beef would be trickier but I’ve done it. [even tried Raw Food and Vegan for a bit in college in 1990 (I’m ancient) to appease a girlfriend. Wasn’t hard to do.

Prefer beef > chicken. Turkey > chicken. Chicken > fish. Shellfish > chicken. I like most veggies and all beans. Rice > pasta. Savory > Sweet. Salt > sweet. Hot > salt. (but that’s a tough one). Yet, I like all these things.

Projecting much? Wow. There’s therapy for that.

I find French food usually too fatty. UK food’s generally too bland for me but I’ll eat it.

Tough to beat the OP though. Italian Mexican and Cajun are a pretty solid trio for everyday eating, not that I couldn’t eat Thai daily because I could. Just don’t get the chance really. Italian Mexican and Cajun are easy to cook in American kitchens. Don’t know why they’re easier. Habit probably.

Ever pluck chickens? Twice in my life, once as a kid, once as an adult. The smell is horrible and picking out the little hairs takes forever.
