Well, the main goal of a stable govt is to be bloated, slow, and not too much.

Yeah, never been satisfied with either. I decide when I pull the curtain behind me usually, although I usually have a pretty good idea by then. I don’t worry _too_ much about presidential, because the electoral college does the actual voting. but I pay a bit of attn to local stuff and representatives – those votes get counted.

I mostly vote out of civic duty though.

Well, the main goal of a stable govt is to be bloated, slow, and not too much. Lots of red tape. It’s all there for a reason – way back in the Constitution. The only thing we’re fast about in the US is going to war but everything else is generally really slow, ,from fed down to local levels. Keeps a society stable.

Oh I don’t like the bi-party system. AT least three parties I think. Ultimately unlimited but at least three should be the norm, not two

Well, if Trump keeps pulling ppl out of the woodwork and the republicans are smart and go for someone else (I don’t think they’ll put Trump up there – I could be wrong) – then Trump will go as an independent. I see a similar thing possible with Sanders if they go with Clinton instead.

He says whatever gets ppl to talk about him. Free publicity everytime someone talks about him, good or bad. He’s a showman and knows showmanship. I doubt he believes 90% of what he says. Could be wrong.
For sure. The way he’s pulling non-voters out of the backwoods to cheer for him is strangely impressive to me while also repulsive at the same time because of what he’s saying to do it. Should make an interesting race in any case. Hasn’t been dull so far.

And Sander’s grassroots campaigning is definitely a model. I’ve seen other efforts in the past like Ron Paul and the green party guy before him (I forgot his name) but nothing to the level of devotion I’ve seen with Sanders. Like I said – interesting race so far. Non-standard for sure.
