well, i wouldnt even mind that so much but what bothers me is his lack of taking any responsibility for his followers in any way. He has a very popular self-help book which I’m sure _has_ helped millions of men in a fashion; from what I saw of that aspect, it was pretty basic stuff similar to an alcoholics anonymous 12-step program steps, using a few of his own snappy little catch phrases. I’m ok with that. Every generation needs some kind of self-help guy.
It’s just.. all the other stuff and mixing in his politics intertwined which I don’t think are actually far-right politics at all but more centrist GenX disgruntled Canadian traditionalist man, which is different from a GenX disgruntled US conservative man, which is different from young men who are disaffected and don’t understand why porn stars won’t return their calls
