Well, I fell into the edison vs westinghouse trap again by arguing batteries vs ac… and I should know better… ..but what I mean is: a few consumer products are electrified by necessity as they should be but many consumer products are DC and yet direct DC options are often optional or not available

Contrast it with having a recreational vehicle where everything is run by a propane driven 12 VDC system. All the comforts of home with no AC.
