We may just be an experiment by God.

* A Few Thoughts by  K E N  U D U T *

So many people think that they have the answers.  A doctor may say, “Bah! Who needs ‘God’?  I know how to set a broken bone”.  Excuse me, Doctor, but you can only set the bone.  Who does the Healing?  You don’t, Doctor.  Sure, you *know* that, when you set the bone a certain way that it will heal in the fastest and best way possible today.  But you do not do the healing.

“Well, it’s the body that heals itself.  That’s all it is!”

Isn’t *that* a miracle?  The Body is Self-Repairing.  Just because you are aware that the Body is this Way, and just because what you do Works just about every time, makes it no less of a miracle.  You are not God here, Doctor.  You are just taking advantage of a common miracle.  God gave us humans the abilities that we possess.  Everything that we do is a reflection of some part of God, since we are Created in God’s Image.

** There is NOTHING that we do that God hasn’t already thought of. **

God KNEW that we would use Medicines, created out of our Chemicals  (chemicals that were created using the Elements God gave us to work with) to help heal others.  God ALSO knew that we would learn the Secrets of the Atoms, and of the Nuclei, and that we could split a nucleus to release the VAST amounts of energy stored there.  We are screwing up right now, playing with a new toy, and we’re causing Waste.  But, given time, we will learn the best ways to use this energy – the energy that God >Gave< Us to use and work with.

“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.’  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.  And God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be Fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living things that moves upon the earth’ …. everything that has the breathe of life….” Genesis 1:26,27,28, part of 30 RSV

By God, we are given the Power of Life.  According to God, we have control over everything that has the breathe of life.  Everything that is alive is under the control of People.  And, as you can see, we have been using this power for thousands of years.  Now we are stepping into the life of atoms, and into the life of the DNA Molecule, manipulating it.  God said it was ok, just that the scientists aren’t giving God the credit.  They actually think that they might be doing something on their own… that God doesnt’ know about.  Well, Guess What Doctor?  Guess What, Genetic Engineer?  The only reason you can do what you can do is because God said it was ok.  If manipulating Genes wasn’t OK by God don’t you think that he would have given the Molecules some sort of Deadly Poison that would erradicate those that defied his Word?

The Earth is our Sandbox.  We can do with it as we please.  If we screw up, then we screw up.  God’ll fiorgive us, in the end, because he knows that we are children that sometimes don’t think straight…. that we don’t always think that what we do has a consequence oftentimes worse than the original action.  But God is giving us the room to make mistakes, unlike our present educational system.  If God corrected every mistake we made as soon as we made it, then we would learn NOTHING.  We build on our past hurts, and mistakes.  He’s not “Protecting” us from the harmful things, unlike many education professionals and parents who try to protect children from freedom of thought and using certain words.  God knows that it’s much better to get hurt and learn than to be told NOT to do something as “protection”.

God didn’t give us Outer Space, however.  If God gave us Space, then don’t you think that Space would be breathable?  Don’t you think that he would’ve given us some nearby Habitated Planets to talk to and compare notes with?  Nope.  I’m sure God knows that we’ll fool around with the immediate “Space”, junking it up with artificial satillites and that we may even screw up the Moon.  But >Outer Space< isn’t for us.  Our Life Spans are too short for any lengthy travel.

Nor the Oceans.  We can have the Fish, but not the entire Oceans.  Again, we screw up the oasts, and take some trips over the top, but onve we fall in, and go under, we’re goners.

The Surface, for the most part, is ours.  “Dominion over all the earth”.  God separated the definition of Sea and Earth.

It is my feeling that we are an experiment on a large, long-term scale.  We screwed up once more than God could handle, so he got rid of us, ecept for one that was Faithful to him, Noah.  Plus Noah’s Family.  But we’re screwing up again over a long period.  So, Jesus popped in.  And he popped right back out again.  If nothing else, Jesus proved that, Yes, One Man CAN change the world, if enough people believe.  So, now we wait.

Maybe God tried again in Muhammad.  Muhammad being for another part of the world perhaps?  Maybe God tried in the relatively recent Ba’hai religion (only 100+ years old) .  If nothing works out, then he might a) Let us finish ourselves off or B) take us in anyway, in the realization that his experiment didn’t turn out as he planned.  (using my assumption that we are just an experiment by God).

A musician isn’t perfect, but his music might be perfect.  An artist isn’t perfect, but his art can be.  Does that ‘truth’ hold for God as well?  Could a perfect Go REALLY create an imperfect species?

Free flowing thoughts from a free-flowing person.  Hope you enjoyed them!

P.S. Would this all be worth retyping on a word processer in a much more cognitive manner?  Also, if you like some of my ideas, please say so.  Privately (or publically, if you wish).  It would be a great change from the heavy criticism.  :)
