We have memory as a reference point. It can be in our heads or written or drawn or imagined. It can be imagined by ourselves or by others. Once there is a pattern to refer to, we become a combination of the pattern and ourselves however they are at that moment. So it is this hybrid, this time-chimera of real and pattern that we are, ever-changing and ever the same. To entirely forget and to be entirely incapable of remembering would be the solution that resolves in a continual living and dying and changing reality.
