We can only pretend to have a god’s eye perspective. We can pretend that we’re not choosing. Yet we’re still choosing because that’s how we function.

For example, we can have these moments of seeing the whole Tao of it all and whatnot – yet that’s not a state we can function in; to function as we do as human beings, we go back to being the cat in the box and not in a statistical state of probabilities
