Yeah I messed around with that when I was 21-22 years old. I still have the book. Didn’t seem new to me though. When I was 11 yrs old, it was biofeedback. Similar techniques, more new agey, hooked up to a buzzing machine. When I was in the cerebral palsy center, from 3-5 yrs old, they did it through physical/occupational therapy and other forms of training.
So, there was no escaping it for me But definitely helps presence of mind, and Vipassana Meditation isn’t hard to learn.
