Very true. I’ve been fascinated at the responses this post has generated here and in another group I posted it in. I’ve learned for example that it can give the impression that it’s implying that “one should stay poor because there’s no point in increasing income at all” – which wasn’t my intention and yet I can see now how it can seem like that. I think that was the biggest surprise for me. But it’s had other meanings put onto it as well such ‘as acquisition of wealth is inherently bad and those who do so are not good or valid people / or their pursuit is invalid’ or that “wealthy people are not good people” which also wasn’t my intent and yet I can see it too
