Using “Becker port” on VCC 1.43 (Color Computer emulator) through “PyDriveWire” running “DWTERM” to TELNET to an Apple 2 BBS on Nov 30, 2012. Stuff I’d have done on my Tandy Color Computer 2 if I could have. I didn’t get a modem until I got my first PC compatible (Tandy 1000 TL). I could’ve gotten one for the Coco (referred to as “Home computers” on Wikipedia. “PyDriveWire” does what DOSBox does too: turns TELNET into a virtual MODEM and allows you to greatly expand old systems, real or emulated with greater capacities. I can only type in UPPERCASE and the keyboard typing isn’t perfect, but it wasn’t perfect then either. It’s accurate fantasy realized.
