I’m not talking about recessions. I’m talking about the HOTNESS of the Present moment vs the COLDNESS of the Past. Right now for example, the Reporter kept the details of the conversation secret. He waited until everybody in the chat lied under oath. THEN he sprung the contents of the chat, showing that yes they did reveal classified information. [One example: The identity of an active CIA agent – a clear example]. I don’t think they’ll be hit with perjury but they lied and should. So this is a hot case. It’s not cold yet. It’s not in the past. Kirk is trying to pat people on the head and say “it’s no big deal don’t worry look Biden did worse.” but his audience is college kids and high school kids – that’s his Turning Point group. He needs to keep his young republicans unbothered. But he’s spinning a mistruth by making this false comparison. It’s not “just a signal call” because the CONTENTS are what makes it more than “coming back at 8 mom”.
That’s right. Because then there will be new imminent threats. This is an imminent threat – a thing that needs to change that we can change.
Control. a) US Airspace, replacing all US air traffic controllers with his sats. b) US Space agency – SpaceX obviously c) internet – removing other players from Biden’s rural internet bill (which is still being worked on) so that the rural areas only use his system. d) communications (no woke mind virus allowed on his networks). It’s control. Why is a man driven as far as he has so far? What would drive him further? More of the same. He’s been wiring his dishes all over the White House and surrounding area. Big security breach IMO but Carter put Solar Panels on so I guess it’s not so different but still, all this bypassing of govt communications is bizarre.
I believe (a belief not a fact) that this and future events like this will end up boiling down to loyalty. If you show signs of disloyalty – in whatever way it is defined by this administration – some equally bizarre thing will occur.
Yes, the adding of the reporter was a mistake but it wasn’t the only mistake. One of the people in the group chat was in Russia. I know you want to give them the benefit of the doubt. You want them to have been professionals who adequately did their jobs except for one minor flaw. But there is nothing demonstrated by Pete that indicates that he HAS the capability of such professionalism – and he was the lead in this was he not? (the driving force for the bombing) [yes Vance was there but he thought it was not a good idea] Now, when I said earlier that I’ve been watching this story a bit – and you mentioned something about a “Democrats” group or something, the reason why it was annoying is you perhaps don’t understand my interest in this. I’m not so concerned what was “allowed” but is it adequately secure? Signal has been a high stakes target for hacking for some time now. Russia knows some common ways to infiltrate and looking at Pete’s info, it _seem as if_ he was successfully hacked, if you believe what’s been showing up in pastebin etc. Even if not, even if this was a lower than high stakes but higher than “honey I’ll be back by 5pm”, it certainly _would seem_ to be at a level where at least a secure location would be warranted. Because this was close as “out in the open” – and remember especially for the person in Russia, a simple spy camera nearby can read a consumer phone screen if it lacks one of those shields that forces you to look straight on. and, there’s this.
