Solar on roofs is just a stupidly obvious help and now that panels started dropping in cost with better manufacturing, there’s less of an excuse _not_ to supplement existing systems by blanketing solar panels on horizontal surfaces. Break-even time (where the benefits outweigh the cost of manufacture and installation) is only a few years now. Geothermal temperature control is a bit more involved but with new construction and incredible electric savings that come with it, I hope to see more of that. So, there’s lots that possible. I’m still waiting for better batteries. I’ve seen some “in the science” but that doesn’t mean anything if it’s not manufactured and sold for public consumption.
