Good for them! Finally, somebody doing something OTHER THAN HTML5/JS/CSS with the Internet in a big way.
Lots of companies are going to be annoyed. But HTML/JS is archaic and really needs something “new, ground up”, so whether or not you like Apple, I give them credit for this bold move.
It’s not that HTML/JS has to die – but rather, it’s nice to see companies experimenting with elimination of it on their devices and see what happens.
It might fail. We’re very dependent on HTML/JS. But they have a chance of proving a point if nothing else. It’s possible.
