Oh I know. I think that direction is fantastic. It’s just a little tricky for me: All my ideals say, “Go local, Made in USA” type stuff, yet where do I keep going? Imports for equivalent items. I was in a supermarket today – a really nice one – that had a lot of that kind of stuff like you’re talking about. I think it’s wonderful and there will always be a market for it.
Yet, if we close off the borders of the country for easy imports and add tariffs and taxes (Trump and Sanders are both Protectionists rather than Globalists), I’m not sure if it will be a return to Mercantilism or if it will boost the economy.
So, I’m still divided.
