Trolling is fun. I spent almost two years trolling “alt right” groups. It was a blast. I combined with with earnest, honesty but my impetus was to keep them off balance a little.

Before that, it was internet philosophers. Read up on excluded middle a bit and you can throw a logician into a tailspin quickly.

For mathematicians, you just need to read up on the Platonic realm (it’s not real) or the first axiom of Set Theory (Set Theory being the king of mathematics). Or you could go further back and take digs at Aristotle’s excluded middle and maybe the inherent issue with the axiom/proof system in general.

I don’t have a problem with people holding these elaborate belief systems – many of which are very pragmatic… but at least know the issue with its foundations.

Oh, and another one with internet philosophers? dialectic – they see it as the ultimate truth-giver. Show them why it’s not.

It’s advanced trolling really. I like going after hard targets.

it’s fun. i’m always on a ‘quest for ultimate truths’ and i do it by looking at fundamental flaws in each of the systems. 100% nerd here
