“transition uncertainty” seems like the “vestibule” notion I was working with a few months ago: being inbetween two rooms or between inside and outside: being in a room that contains other rooms but only in part and in different amounts depending where you are in it.

I’m always criticizing Bayesian but occasionally it makes sense and this seems to make sense.
