Neighbors. Bi-directional freedom of movement. Every country has laws and enforcement of some kind. Most people DON’T migrate unless it’s a dire need anyway.

It’s risky of course but I don’t think it’s much additional risk. People regularly go back and forth across borders anyway, both legal and illegal means.

Citizens have to go through loss of freedoms for security making them prisoners in their own lands – which isn’t protecting freedoms at all.

Protect freedom by providing freedom.

Law enforcement are the door locks to laws being broken. If Laws aren’t being broken, does it matter who isn’t breaking those laws?

Most of the time, sure. But someone’s always home. The “someone home” is equivalent to law enforcement.

Public roads are public. Public areas are public. They’re governed by public laws and public law enforcement. Transportation and travel.

Then there’s private areas. Everybody who lives here is “the cop” for the house as well as the resident.
