Funding what makes schools better schools and students better people is logical. It’s in line with what school is supposed to be for.
Thoughts and prayers by powerful people do nothing. Their job is literally to sit down and propose solutions and discuss them / debate. But they offer the refuge of the powerless: “thoughts and prayers”.
WHATEVER they might come up with, at least come up with something.
IS it mental health? Fine. Fund it. Work on it.
I know and that’s a problem across the board. The infrastructure for this is in place. Solutions need funding and implementation.
