This part of the hippocampus has been giving me such a headache on and off because I *think* I ‘get it” and then I think I’m opposite. Then I think I get it, then I go back again. Then I realized that different scientists use different perspectives when describing these things. Their idea of beginning and ending is different because these are BOTH bottom up AND top down circuits simuntaleously and so the scientists are coming from different directions.
Much relief. Will have to double-check this but I think this I finally ‘got’.
