This is not predetermination, just noticing that “things seem to have a time”.
It’s a small example: But haven’t you had an idea that was brand new and you’ve never seen it before… and then a few years later, you find your idea for sale at the store?
Well, your great idea was an idea “whose time had come” and OTHER PEOPLE had the same or similar idea.
One example from old times is the similar concepts of “Tao” and “Logos”. They occurred around the same time.
Was one born of the other? Perhaps. But it’s also possible that it was an “idea whose time had come”. If not them, perhaps somebody else.
Perhaps had Hitler been killed young, another would have popped in and risen to power and we would use HIM to refute arguments instead of Hitler on internet forums today.
